Description

T.MicroSat-3 is the third CubeSat developed by Tron Future Tech, built as an in-orbit experimental platform for a future broadband communication constellation. Its primary objective is to validate Ka-band broadband communication payload technology in orbit, while its inter-satellite link (ISL) module demonstrates a key constellation-enabling capability by establishing cross-satellite links and exchanging data directly between spacecraft. For TT&C, the satellite carries separate UHF and S-band transceivers, over which operators can send commands and receive telemetry; a periodic beacon is transmitted via the UHF transceiver to support early identification and community reception through networks such as SatNOGS. The mission is part of the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA) startup cubesat program to foster domestic CubeSat integration and the in-orbit verification of locally developed payloads.

Note: T.MicroSat-3 does not have a NORAD ID yet, as it will be launched on SpaceX Bandwagon-5 (currently scheduled for Oct, 2026).
