Description

K-HERO (KAIST Hall Effect Rocket Orbiter) is a 3U CubeSat developed by KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). Its mission is to demonstrate a miniaturized Hall thruster for microsatellites in orbit, developed by Cosmo Bee Corp. K-HERO is the first Korean CubeSat equipped with an electric propulsion (EP) system, as well as the first Korean satellite with EP to be launched aboard a Korean launch vehicle.
