Satellite is in orbit and operational
With HADES-SA/SpinnyONE, you want to try something different from previous FM/FSK repeaters. Your mission is going to focus on modes digital, specifically in text messages via FSK, in CODEC2 voice and in SSDV images.
For this the satellite includes a small one BBS where users can upload their indicative along with a message from text short and, optionally, a voice recording CODEC2, which will be stored and retransmitted periodically. The BBS can store up to five text messages and five messages CODEC2 of up to 15 seconds each.
The satellite will also transmit ssdv images, which will be taken using a camera and software provided by Spinning Around, in gratitude for which the satellite also receives the nickname SpinnyONE. The camera will capture images of a new deployment mechanism that is it is testing, as well as a small plaque commemorating the mission, where the Earth is expected to be visible in many of the shots.
The satellite includes a recording of CODEC2 with a text from Don Quixote and an image of SSDV stored in Flash, which will be sent as long as there are no new CODEC2 recordings in the case of the voice, or in case the camera fails or the photo has not been processed correctly, in the case of SSDV. Each image of SSDV it has an identifier from 0 to 255. The Flash image bears the identifier 0.
The bandwidth to be used is very small: just 3.6 kHz.
No observations recorded for HADES-SA in the last 24h
