Description
STARCLOUD-1 is a satellite launched by the company Starcloud that carries the first NVIDIA H100 GPU into space to test AI processing in orbit. The mission aims to perform data analysis like wildfire identification and weather tracking directly on the satellite, rather than sending data back to Earth for processing, which allows for faster results. The 60-kilogram satellite, about the size of a small refrigerator, was launched on a SpaceX rocket in November 2025
