Description The Altair small spacecraft of the Skobeltsyn Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University was created on the basis of the NILAKT DOSAAF 6U CubeSat satellite platform within the framework of the Space-π project and a large scientific and educational project and the eponymous satellite grouping Sozvezdie-270 of the MSU NOSh Kosmos. The main technological task of the Altair spacecraft is to obtain data on the radiation situation using cosmic radiation detectors developed at the MSU NIIPh in polar sun-synchronous orbits under conditions of a limited-oriented flight on a small 6U CubeSat platform for a given configuration of onboard electronics. Based on the results of the development of new products, design, technological and organizational decisions will be made to optimize the further preparation of larger experiments at the MSU Scientific Research Institute of Nuclear Physics, the main objective of which is to develop a dynamic model of the near-Earth radiation environment in various orbits.
