| Description | AO-10 has two transponders on board. The Mode-B transponder has a response frequency in the 70cm band and sends back to earth in the 2m band. With a bandwidth of 150 kHz, about 50 connections are possible simultaneously. The Mode-L transponder has a response frequency in the 23cm band and a 70cm distance to the ground. At a bandwidth of 800 kHz, it enabled about 300 simultaneous connections.
